Huski Wear AB (559250-7940) is the data controller and processes personal data for the purpose of managing orders and inquiries, tailoring offers and messages, communicating information and promotions, analyzing data to improve offers, and providing Huski Wear with better insight into how our products and services are used.
The data controller is responsible for ensuring that all processing of personal data is carried out in accordance with applicable legislation.
What Personal Data We Process and Why
When making a purchase
To complete a purchase with us, we need to process personal data (name, address, phone number, email address, username, correspondence). This data is stored for 3 years in order to fulfill obligations during the warranty period.
Legal basis: Performance of contract.
For product development
To develop our products, product tests are carried out through test users or groups who use the products and provide written evaluations. In these cases, we process personal data (name, contact details).
Legal basis: Consent. The data is processed until consent is withdrawn.
For events
To participate in an event organized by Huski Wear, we process personal data (name, address, phone number, email address, username, correspondence, photographs, results lists).
Legal basis: Consent. This data (except results lists) is processed until consent is withdrawn.
Results lists require separate consent from April 1, 2021, and the data is stored until consent is withdrawn. Results lists based on registrations before April 1, 2021, are published with minimal personal data – name, possible club, and time. If you no longer wish to appear on a results list, you can contact Huski Wear at any time to be removed.
For marketing
To market events, products, and services, we process our customers’ personal data (name, address, phone number, email address). This data is processed for as long as you are a customer with us.
Legal basis: Performance of contract.
For service development
To improve our services, we process personal data (traffic information from browsers, age, place of residence, click behavior). We use this data to analyze, on an aggregated (not individual) level, how our websites are used and the demographics of visitors.
This type of data is stored for up to one year from collection. After that, it is anonymized or deleted.
Legal basis: Legitimate interest. We assess that our interest in obtaining this information outweighs your interest in not having it stored. If you have any objections, you are welcome to contact us using the details below.
To fulfill legal obligations
To comply with our legal obligations (e.g., accounting, product liability, product safety, and data protection within IT systems), we process personal data (name, contact details, payment information, correspondence, personal identity number).
Data is stored for as long as necessary to fulfill the legal obligations, after which it is anonymized or deleted.
How We Protect Data
Huski Wear values your privacy and always protects your personal data with the necessary technical and organizational security measures, ensuring that processing is carried out in accordance with applicable law.
Retention Period
Huski Wear stores your personal data for as long as necessary for our reporting purposes, to maintain a good customer experience, and to respond to questions regarding past interactions. We also consider legal requirements that require certain information to be retained longer, for example for financial traceability.
Therefore, we may retain your personal data for a reasonable period after your last contact with us. When the data no longer serves its purpose, it is deleted or anonymized.
Your Rights
We strive to be transparent about how we process your data. If you wish to learn more about our data processing, you have the right to request access to your data in the form of a register extract.
In connection with such a request, we may ask for additional information to ensure that we release the data to the correct person.
You always have the right to request the correction of inaccurate data and to complete incomplete information. You also have the right to request that your personal data be deleted (see exceptions below).
Your request must be in writing and include your name, email address, and postal address.
Send your request to:
Huski Wear AB
Datavägen 17

We cannot delete data that we are legally required to retain, such as accounting records, or where there are legitimate reasons to retain it, e.g., in cases of unpaid debts.
You have the right to request restriction of processing and to object to processing. If our processing is based on legitimate interest, you have the right to object if you have personal reasons. However, we may continue processing if we have compelling legitimate grounds that outweigh your privacy interests.
If our right to process your personal data is based on an agreement with you, you have the right to request that the data you provided be transferred to another data controller (known as data portability).
Data Processors
Huski Wear AB is responsible for ensuring that the processing of your personal data is in accordance with applicable data protection laws. Huski Wear AB may use subcontractors (“data processors”) to process personal data for the purposes described above.
Examples include services for external data storage, e-commerce systems, IT and customer support, customer analysis, and user experience analytics. Our data processors are bound by the same obligations as we are regarding the protection of your personal data.
Since some of our data processors may be located both within and outside the EU/EEA, your data may be shared and transferred outside the EU/EEA. In such cases, Huski Wear ensures that standardized contractual clauses are in place to guarantee the same level of protection as within the EU/EEA.
